Client Development Manager

Location: London (Hybrid); 2-3 days in office

About us

We use the latest behavioural science to transform the performance of companies and the lives of people who work in them. But don't take our word for it. Since we started MindGym, we've partnered with over half the FTSE 100 and S&P 100, equipping them with an all-important human advantage.

MindGym was born around a kitchen table in 2000. Since those early chain-tea-drinking sessions, we've worked with most of the world's top 500 companies. We've inspired and transformed the performance of over three million people. And we've published four books, including an international best-seller. We've left the kitchen table, but we've never lost our hunger.

The Role:

  • You'll be selling behavioural interventions that drive action in some of the largest companies in the world.
  • You'll have compelling conversations with mid- to senior-level decision makers within HR and L&D to understand their people and performance challenges.
  • You'll partner with your Practice Lead or a Client Director on more complex deals.
  • From here you'll be proposing suitable solutions from a range of products and solutions.
  • You will then be held accountable for partnering with our Project Managers and Solutions & Design teams to deliver the work you sold to high quality.
  • We work in a client-centric and creative environment. You'll be encouraged to use your initiative to solve problems.
  • You'll primarily focus on growing new business, as well as expanding work with some of the clients we already partner with.
  • You will be in charge of the entire sales lifecycle, from sourcing leads to managing medium complexity programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Build simple, clear and succinct solution presentations and commercial proposals to human capital issues, both within our core product portfolio (leadership, performance etc.), but also help solve portfolio-adjacent problems
  • Effectively and articulately represent MindGym in client proposals, pitches, meetings and networking events

Collaboration across teams:

  • Partner with PL, Solutions Strategy and Executive Sponsors to ensure high quality insights are delivered to our clients
  • Partner with colleagues in the Client Delivery Team, Solutions, Design and your PL to ensure quality execution of what you have sold
  • Actively share insights and learnings across the Client Team

Sales discipline:

  • Ensure all information delivered is relevant, accurate and timely, both to your clients and internal stakeholders
  • Utilise MindGym sales methodologies and governance processes to qualify opportunities and prioritise your workload
  • Utilise MindGym CRM, tools and framework to actively achieve your goals (SF, Gong, etc.)
  • Gather, collate, and maintain all the information required for a successful client partnership, be those discovery and commercial or quarterly business reviews

Building the MindGym brand:

  • Support MindGym's strategic growth by identifying clients that fit with MindGym's new product launches or product focus areas
  • Proactively share market and product feedback with internal teams to support product development roadmap
  • Promote MindGym utilising Marketing resources, events and tools
  • Actively promoting brand on social media

Qualifications:

  • Client relationship across all significant stakeholders
  • Revenue, both new business and account growth/renewal
  • Credibility working with mid-senior level stakeholders
  • Interest in/fluency about psychology in business/Talent and HR
  • 3yrs+ working in sales in a professional services environment

Boasting one of the most recognized fintech ecosystems in Europe, attracting billions in investments each year, London's success has made it a go-to destination for startups looking to make their mark. Top U.K. companies like Hoptin, Moneybox and Marshmallow have already made the city their base — yet fintech is just the beginning. From healthtech to renewable energy to cybersecurity and beyond, the city's startups are breaking new ground across a range of industries.
