The firm is backed by The Carlyle Group, Nasdaq Inc., and Summit Partners, and has seen continuous rapid growth since its founding in 2016.

The Opportunity

Bring your expertise to a highly collaborative, creative, and innovative team with a market-leading technology product suite. We are seeking an accomplished and ambitious sales professional to join our Client Development team and help drive new client acquisition across EMEA and APAC. This is a role for someone who is hungry for impact — a consultative closer who can operate with the credibility and polish that institutional investors expect, while thriving in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

You will work closely with the Global Head of Sales and cross-functional stakeholders to help establish and grow our client development function out of our London office. Your focus will span the full sales lifecycle — from lead generation and initial scoping through proof of concept, negotiation, and close — with a particular emphasis on building Chronograph's footprint among private equity Limited Partners across EMEA and APAC. You will play a meaningful role in shaping how the team scales in this region.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven, detail-oriented top performer to become directly engaged with several of the world's most sophisticated private equity investors and produce immediate impact within a globally-focused financial technology firm.

As a Director of Client Development focused on LP Sales at Chronograph, you will:

  • Drive new ARR from private capital Limited Partners across EMEA and APAC, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Sales and executive leadership to develop and execute a regional go-to-market strategy
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager and client advocate throughout the engagement journey, including lead generation, needs scoping, presentation, proof of concept design and execution, negotiation, and onboarding
  • Develop a deep understanding of LP client use cases — including portfolio monitoring, performance reporting, and data management workflows — to deliver thoughtful, tailored solutions
  • Conduct compelling and adaptive sales presentations for executive-level stakeholders at some of the world's most sophisticated institutional investors
  • Identify opportunities to refine and improve the client development process as the EMEA and APAC function scales
  • Travel as needed for in-person client and prospect meetings across the region

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Minimum four (4) or more years of professional experience in enterprise software sales or private capital markets
  • A proven track record of sales success in a software sales or professional services environment serving the finance industry
  • Experience working with or selling to institutional investors, including private equity LPs, fund of funds, endowments, pension funds, or similar
  • An ability to quickly distill complex client needs and develop creative, solutions-oriented responses
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage confidently with C-suite and investment-level stakeholders
  • Strong ability to independently prioritize, manage, and advance multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership aptitude and a collaborative, proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Familiarity with private capital markets, fund structures, or investment performance reporting (nice to have)
  • Experience building out a regional or international sales function (nice to have)
  • Positive attitude, sense of humor and creativity
  • Strong analytical, project leadership and communication skills

Even if you do not meet all criteria, we would still encourage you to apply or get in touch! Chronograph offers an entrepreneurial environment where you will be able to proactively identify opportunities to develop and strengthen our team.
