Join our COO team as a Project Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract to lead the delivery of a ClickHouse database implementation, working closely with development teams to define requirements, guide delivery, and ensure the platform meets user needs.
Your future role at QRT:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a ClickHouse database implementation, working with business users to understand how the platform will be used and translate those needs into clear, structured requirements
- Partner closely with development teams to define scope, delivery plans, milestones, and timelines
- Act as the central coordination point between engineering, data, infrastructure, and business stakeholders
- Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Support testing, go-live readiness, and handover
Your current skillset:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience delivering ClickHouse implementations in production, with sufficient technical depth to articulate user requirements, challenge design decisions, and guide delivery alongside development teams
- Strong working understanding of ClickHouse and how analytical data platforms are used in production, supporting requirements definition and delivery oversight rather than hands-on development
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex technical implementations in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly and credibly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
