We have an outstanding opportunity to lead a multifaceted and ambitious team in our Claims Division. As a Claims Manager, you will provide first-line supervision, support, and mentoring to your team members, helping them realise their potential and develop their skills. You will play an important role in maintaining a positive and inclusive team culture where everyone can thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and implement operational strategy, policy and procedures to optimise the Claims service.

  • Identify process bottlenecks and work with Claims Operations and Business Performance Manager to resolve.

  • Manage day-to-day operations, overseeing the Claims team and liaising with HR, L&D and Broking teams where necessary.

  • Provide regular reports to Claims Operations on team performance, using tools available including and not limited to data and dashboards.

  • Work closely with the Client Servicing team to gain feedback on your team and help drive client service.

  • An analytical yet approachable standout colleague, keen to build sustainable relationships with team and clients alike.

Experience & Professional Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a team leader or managerial role leading a team within the specialist commercial claims insurance market.

  • Qualified to a minimum of Cert CII.

  • Track record of delivering results and meeting/exceeding targets whilst keeping client focus.

  • Insurance brokerage background with commercial experience.

  • Fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office products.

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of general and legal principles of insurance and knowledge of relevant regulatory and legal frameworks.
