As a Technology Support Lead at JPMorgan Chase within our Production Management team, you will be responsible for showcasing technical and operational expertise to JPMorgan's Derivatives businesses. You will play a leadership role in ensuring excellent delivery of our products while maintaining operational stability, availability, and performance of our production services. Conscientious and committed delivery to our clients and critical thinking while overseeing day-to-day maintenance of the firm's systems will be key and set you up for success as you navigate tasks related to identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
Job responsibilities
- Serve as a senior team member collaborating across various technology and business functions to ensure comprehensive application or infrastructure service delivery, supporting the firm's successful business operations.
- Execute policies and procedures that ensure operational stability and availability.
- Monitor production environments for anomalies, address issues, and drive evolution of utilization of standard observability tools.
- Escalate and communicate issues and solutions to the business and technology stakeholders, actively participating from incident resolution to service restoration.
- Lead incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure.
- Provide daily technical expertise and operational support to ensure maximum production stability for Front Office and Middle Office applications.
- Support applications throughout the entire trade lifecycle, including algorithmic trading, trade execution and booking, market data, and risk management.
- Build collaborative relationships with other members of the Production Management team across different regions and within the organization as needed.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services.
- Experience managing applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud.
- Proficient in observability and monitoring tools such as Geneos, Graphana and Dynatrace.
- Experience executing on processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
- Familiarity with equities and derivatives products and its related lifecycle and booking process and high level impact to Risk and Pnl.
- Experience in supporting sales and trading, as well as risk and trade management platforms.
- Proficient in SQL and stored procedures, with experience in Sybase and Oracle databases.
- Knowledgeable in UNIX, with a preference for Linux experience, and capable of troubleshooting performance and business-as-usual (BAU) issues.
- Understanding of the FIX protocol and ability to trace orders across components.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with Scripting or development experience in Perl, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with Software and business systems design, analysis, development, and support.
