Working as part of a cross-functional team you lead the RDQ activities required to complete new product development and maintain portfolios and/or productivity projects keeping in mind the goal to deliver the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
You will plan, conduct, and execute small and middle level projects. Responsible for the development and implementation of new chocolate products across European Region. Provide research and development of the design of Chocolate Tablet Platform in Mondelez Europe - Growth, QI, Brand Maintenance, but can also include projects on Business Continuity Process, Margins & Productivity implementation, and provide processes to ensure product safety and consumer satisfaction by:

  • Development of new products in line with consumer centric design
  • Development of processes capable of consistently producing the intended design
  • Improvement of quality through value added design
  • Cost reduction of non-value added elements
  • Maintaining of brand equity asset


What you will bring

  • University degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Food Engineering or similar, Science degree is advantage
  • Min. 1-2 years of experience in product or packaging development, process engineering, CI or plant quality in food industry
  • Technical knowledge of food ingredients and technologies; knowledge of chocolate confectionary will be a strong plus
  • Fluent English; other European languages are a benefit
  • Very good communication skills
  • Creative mindset, ability for innovation, as well as good organizational skills
  • Travel (ca. 30%) across Europe

The Product Developer role requires work in Pilot Plant, travelling, meetings with suppliers, and being responsible for the commercialization of NPDs (50/50 with Operations).
