Rivan Industries is a vertically integrated synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise industries you can’t electrify. We aim to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping the CO2 locked underground.

We’re looking for a Chief of Staff to help design and execute key projects and set-up the organisation to scale. We’re a highly technical team building one of the most impactful technologies this century, and see this role as a lynchpin to connect all the dots.

This will take the form of building team, communication and information frameworks across the company for the next 100 people, stitching technical & non-technical departments together, and preparing for Series B and commercial expansion.

The role:

  • Designing our organisational architecture and culture to scale
    • Department, hierarchy, and responsibility structure
    • Information and data flow across the organisation – how can we make this seamless?
    • Design and implement rapid up-skilling framework where we see team bottlenecks
    • Amplification of our culture across all areas of the business
  • Design and execute strategic projects
    • Across fundraising, recruitment, commercial execution, product IP, and government engagement
    • Connect engineering, manufacturing, commercial, financial and deployment across key projects

Core skills:

  • 5-6+ years professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Masters in related field (preference to engineering)
  • Experience and aptitude for brilliant first-principles thinking and strategy

Specifics:

  • £80-100k base-salary
  • Significant share options as part of the early team
  • In-person work at our HQ in Bermondsey, South-East London – flexibility considered based on personal circumstances
  • Extensive relocation support, including £6000 per year extra to live close to our HQ
  • Unlimited time-off
  • Private healthcare

We encourage exceptional applicants from all backgrounds to apply for this role, even if they do not meet all the requirements listed.
