ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Chief of Staff at RootstockLabs, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's strategic initiatives, optimizing organizational effectiveness, and supporting the CEO. In this role, you will work side-by-side with CEO on key areas such as OKRs and target tracking, strategic planning, board reporting, economic modelling, and organizational improvement. You will also act as a trusted advisor and sounding board for questions of strategy and operational efficiency—doing whatever it takes to succeed in our mission to Make Bitcoin Work for Everyone. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Function as the CEO’s strategic partner, providing guidance, supporting key decisions, and driving operational execution from ideation to implementation.
- Champion the CEO’s priorities, setting metrics for success, attending critical meetings as a delegate, and ensuring alignment across the company.
- Develop and lead strategic initiatives, including short- and long-term plans, roadmap execution, and collaboration across GTM, Product, Tech, People, and Finance teams.
- Oversee the delivery of cross-functional projects, ensuring smooth execution, team alignment, and measurable outcomes.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, research, and materials for strategic initiatives, internal communications, and external events on behalf of the CEO.
- Gather and analyze insights from teams and departments, reporting key findings and actionable recommendations directly to the CEO.
- Identify and enhance processes to improve organizational efficiency and uncover opportunities for operational excellence.
- Manage and improve the OKR framework, enabling clear goal-setting, progress tracking, and effective execution of company strategy.
- Lead market and competitive intelligence efforts, analyzing trends, performance metrics, and industry insights to inform strategic decisions.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 8+ years in strategic, operational, or leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of Bitcoin, blockchain technology, and the cryptocurrency landscape
- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing strategic initiatives and project management
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage complex projects and drive results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
