Who are we?

Here at Nothing, we're building a world where tech is fun again. Remember a time where every new product made you excited? We're bringing that back.

To get there we're gathering the creative and the curious. Those that are passionate enough to question the old and embrace the new. In return, you'll be part of a movement. Contributing to a global ecosystem of products that bring joy to people's lives.

In four years, we’ve sold over 6 million products worldwide including Phone (1), which was listed on Time Magazine's Best Inventions of 2022 for Innovative Smartphone Design. In 2024, we launched our third and fourth smartphones, as well as a new audio lineup, including our debut in Open Sound Technology: Ear (open).

Alongside our core product range, we also have CMF by Nothing. A sub-brand dedicated to making great design more accessible without compromising on quality and innovation.

Everyday at Nothing we share an optimism that we’re making a difference to the world. If that sounds like something you'd like to be part of, read on...

I am looking for a Chief of Staff. Someone who...

  • Is sharp, structured, and highly analytical—able to break down complex problems with ease.

  • Comes from an investment banking background.

  • Is extremely detail-oriented, ensuring that projects, meetings, and execution happen seamlessly.

  • Thrives in high-intensity environments, working directly with the CEO to drive key initiatives.

  • This role suits someone who is currently based in India (one of our biggest markets), who is happy to spend 12 - 18 months with us in London understanding the business before transitioning to our India office.

  • Has Grade A communication skills, capable of influencing decisions and working across teams.

What you will be doing?

  • Act as the CEO’s right hand—track projects, meetings, and execution with precision.

  • Manage cross-functional initiatives—align teams and remove bottlenecks.

  • Ensure flawless execution—identify inefficiencies and proactively fix them.

  • Synthesise and analyse information—prepare reports, track key metrics, and drive insights.

  • Prepare for long-term impact—learn the business in London, then execute in India.

Who you are

  • You get things done—you don’t let tasks slip, and you push for results.

  • You think ahead—you anticipate challenges and solve problems before they arise.

  • You are highly driven and self-motivated—you don’t wait for instructions, you create your own path.

  • You set a high bar for execution—you don’t tolerate inefficiencies or low standards.

  • You are an exceptional communicator—you align teams and ensure clarity in execution.

  • If you want to operate at the highest level, this role will give you more learning and growth in 12 - 18 months than most people get in a decade.

What you’ll get out of this role

  • Intensive business execution training, working directly with the CEO and leadership team.

  • A front-row seat to high-level decision-making in a fast-growing, design-led company.

  • 1-2 years of career acceleration, far beyond traditional career paths.

  • A leadership role once in India, where you will drive high-impact initiatives.

If you’re looking for an easy job, this isn’t it. But if you want to grow faster than ever and make a real impact, let’s talk.

To apply:

  • Please describe what operational excellence means and the key factors that drive it so we can get a better understanding of how you think and behave, in addition to your resume.

Please send this directly to [email protected]

We are an equal opportunity employer and will always promote a more diverse and inclusive environment. We are committed to being a welcome employer for all candidates.
