Overview

Strategic right hand to the CPO. Enable the CPO to focus on strategy, vision, and external relationships by owning strategic projects, executive operations, and cross-organizational coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partner to CPO (40%)

  • Daily thought partnership on strategic decisions

  • Prepare Board presentations and executive communications

  • Represent CPO with proxy authority in key meetings

  • Lead annual strategic planning and quarterly OKR process

  • Optimize CPO's time and effectiveness

Strategic Projects & Special Initiatives (40%)

  • Lead M&A product integration and due diligence

  • Drive major platform migrations and transformations

  • Manage product portfolio rationalization

  • Coordinate competitive response initiatives

  • Problem-solve critical organizational issues

  • Lead post-mortems and drive systemic improvements

Executive Operations & Governance (20%)

  • Manage Product Leadership Team meetings and agendas

  • Facilitate Product Investment Council (innovation governance)

  • Consolidate executive and board reporting

  • Support budget planning and resource allocation

  • Track strategic initiatives and commitments

Required Qualifications

Experience:

  • 3+ years in strategic program management or chief of staff roles

  • B2B SaaS product organization experience

Skills:

  • Strategic thinking and executive presence

  • Exceptional communication and influence

  • Project management and operational excellence

  • Change management expertise

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid context-switching

Success Metrics
  • CPO spends 70%+ time on strategy/vision (not firefighting)

  • 90%+ of strategic projects delivered on time

  • Decision velocity improved 30%+

  • Product org engagement in top quartile

At Kyriba we value pay transparency and fairness.

For new hires, the annual base salary range for this role is: $206,700.00 - $261,375.00 annual salary based on a full-time schedule. Salary can progress beyond this range through sustained performance and demonstrated success in the role. In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for variable compensation (eg. performance bonus or commission-based plan) and/or a long-term incentive. The final package will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and qualifications.
