The Chief Engineer will ensure efficient engineering operations and compliance with all regulatory standards for aircraft maintenance. Responsibilities include overseeing adherence to Part CAMO & Part 145, implementing corrective actions, managing engineering facilities, and providing sufficient competent personnel.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure engineering operations are efficient and optimised to deliver maximum availability of regulatory and contractually complaint aircraft.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant continued airworthiness management requirements in accordance with IAA Part CAMO & Part 145.
Ensure that aircraft and components are maintained to the requirements of Part 145 and Part CAMO.
- Ensure the Company expositions (QID 054 (Pt145) and QID 113 (Pt M)) are implemented at the bases.
- Provide timely notification to the Engineering manager whenever engineering deficiencies emerge which require attention.
- Implementation of effective corrective actions following audits and incidents.
- Ensure all engineering facilities and office accommodation operate to Part 145 & Part CAMO standard with an appropriate working environment.
- Ensure provision of compliant storage facilities for the necessary parts, tools, equipment, and materials to perform the planned tasks.
- Ensure provision of sufficient competent personnel to plan, perform, supervise, inspect, and certify planned work activities.
- Monitoring corrective actions outstanding following Audits.
- Other duties as directed by the Part 145 Manager or Accountable Manager.
