Chapter Lead – WeMeet
Freelance - Commission-based

This is not a fixed salary Job. For more informations, check below.
The role
Every city has one Chapter Lead. You’re the direct link between WeMeet HQ and the local Event Creators. You run the city, own the local community, and build it like your own business, with the WeMeet team always behind you.
What you’ll do

  • Scout, recruit and nurture a network of Event Creators who will drive your city’s event offering, and keep growing that network along with the participant base.

  • Shape the local event calendar with the WeMeet team, spot gaps in the market and plan formats that maximize engagement and growth, including large events.

  • Be the go-to person and trusted advisor for Event Creators in your area, supporting them as their events grow.

  • Run your own recurring events if you want (drinks, dinners, coffees). There’s no capacity cap, so large formats are on the table.

  • Manage the local WeMeet Instagram accounts and WhatsApp community groups to amplify events and keep the community engaged.

  • Bring the community together with an entrepreneurial spirit, making sure no one feels left behind.

How you’ll earn
This is an entrepreneurial, commission-based role. You earn by helping Event Creators succeed:

  • Add-on commission on your Event Creators’ events. For every paid ticket sold in your group, you earn an add-on that you agree with each Event Creator, on top of the WeRoad fee + VAT.

  • Margin on your own events. Ticket price minus Stripe fees, the WeMeet fee and your costs.

WeRoad collects ticket revenue and pays your commissions against your invoices. You and your Event Creators operate through Stripe Connect.
What you get

  • A 6-month Chapter Lead license, renewable based on agreed targets, with no license fee in 2026.

  • A dedicated WeMeet HQ account, plus onboarding and continuous training.

  • Hands-on support to scout, build and onboard new Event Creators in your area.

  • A Chapter Lead dashboard with live tracking of your area’s and your Event Creators’ performance.

  • New app features shipping continuously.

  • The chance to grow a city under a premium brand that leads in real-life connections.

Who we’re looking for

  • You’re self-employed (freelancer, autónomo, P.IVA, auto-entrepreneur, Selbstständig). This is a requirement to apply.

  • You live in the city you're applying for and know its social scene inside out.

  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and you’re motivated by growth targets.

  • You’re a natural connector who loves bringing people together.

  • Experience in events, community building, hospitality, sales or partnerships is a strong plus.

  • You’re comfortable managing Instagram and WhatsApp communities.

Your area
A city is the default. A region is possible only if you commit to developing all of its provinces, with a real plan for Event Creators, events and growth. You can also run more than one city.
Selection process
Selection is based on a business case.

1. Apply. Fill in the application form. If your profile matches what we’re looking for, we’ll send you a business case template to complete and return to us. It should cover a 6-month plan for your city, expected month-on-month growth in Event Creators, the event categories you’ll run, a plan for big events, and growth in events and check-ins split by type.

2. Present. Walk the WeMeet team through your business case in a one-to-one call.

3. Outcome. We’ll get back to you with our decision after the call.

4. Get started. If the outcome is positive, we agree on your cities/provinces for the next 6 months, onboard you and introduce you to the Event Creators already active in your area.
