JOB SUMMARY:

The Channel Performance & Operations Manager, will support performance, execution, and operational effectiveness across Choice Hotels’ third-party distribution channels. This role is responsible for monitoring channel performance, coordinating tactical initiatives, identifying optimization opportunities, and partnering across the organization to support revenue, channel mix, content quality, operational consistency, and franchisee value. The ideal candidate is an analytical, detail-oriented operator who can translate data, partner insights, and market trends into clear recommendations and practical action plans. This position works closely with teams across Revenue Management, Commercial Performance, Digital, Operations, Technology, Legal, and hotel-facing support functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support day-to-day performance and operational execution across assigned third-party distribution channels, serving as a key contact for channel performance, partner coordination, issue resolution, and tactical follow-through.

  • Develop and execute channel action plans that support Choice Hotels’ distribution strategy, including performance goals, key metrics, optimization priorities, and operational improvements.

  • Analyze channel performance, market trends, and partner insights to identify opportunities, risks, and recommendations that support incremental revenue, balanced channel mix, and franchisee value.

  • Prepare and support recurring partner meetings, business reviews, performance updates, tactical recommendations, and follow-up actions.

  • Partner with Revenue Management, Commercial Performance, Digital, Operations, Technology, Legal, and hotel-facing teams to support channel execution, performance troubleshooting, and scalable distribution processes.

  • Identify and support appropriate partner marketing, merchandising, promotional, and visibility opportunities that align with commercial objectives.

  • Monitor and support content quality, rate parity, payment or commission issues, policy compliance, connectivity performance, and other channel-specific operational needs.

  • Support new and existing channel initiatives by providing business input, operational considerations, implementation support, and recommendations on partner or platform opportunities.

  • Develop reports, presentations, training materials, and channel performance updates for leadership, internal stakeholders, and hotel-facing teams as needed.

  • Stay informed on online travel, ecommerce, hospitality distribution, and technology trends to provide proactive recommendations and support continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Employment Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Revenue Management, or a related field preferred.

  • 10–15 years of experience in online travel, hospitality, ecommerce, distribution, revenue management, account management, or a related commercial field preferred.

  • Experience managing strategic partner or account relationships, including developing account plans, leading business reviews, and tracking performance against goals.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and make clear business recommendations.

  • Working knowledge of hotel distribution, OTA partnerships, ecommerce performance, content optimization, rate parity, connectivity, payment, or commission processes preferred.

  • Strong communication, presentation, relationship management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

  • Comfortable using AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity, analyze information, summarize insights, support content development, and streamline workflows.

  • Experience using reporting, analytics, project management, CRM, or collaboration tools to manage account performance, track priorities, and communicate updates preferred.

Education Requirements

  • CRME, CHIA, or other revenue optimization, hospitality analytics, ecommerce, distribution, or commercial strategy coursework/certifications preferred.

COMPENSATION & SALARY RANGE:

Salary Range: $99,919 to $117,000 annually
 

This role is also eligible for an annual bonus under Choice’s Management Incentive Plan (MIP).
