What is the role?

The Change Coordinator organises and operates the administration, documentation, and coordination of product and process changes across the Automation programme. This role facilitates traceability and communication of engineering changes for multiple products consistently and effectively in line with internal processes and by collaboration with external partners.


What you will do: 

  • Support the definition and roll out of hardware change management to achieve the greatest speed and flexibility while maintaining adequate control and record keeping
  • Set up and maintain accurate records and logs for deviations, concessions, changes and change actions, leading the hardware change control process while ensuring engineers complete their responsibilities on time
  • Prepare input data and documentation for review
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders but does not make technical decisions
  • Collaborate closely with others on pre-release preparation and post-release traceability
  • Help maintain structured reporting on change activity, including delay tracking and issue resolution
  • Escalate gaps in change documentation or stakeholder input to enable resolution.

Essential

  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • A good understanding of change management for hardware and the product development processes
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Comfortable working with engineering and manufacturing stakeholders
  • Interest in learning about release and configuration management

Desirable

  • Familiarity with work and data management tools like Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals and practices
  • Exposure to Agile or structured development environments
  • Familiarity with BOM structures, deviations, or PLM systems
  • Experience with document control tools
