We are seeking a highly technical, proactive Senior Delivery Manager/Tech Lead with expertise in financial crime in the finance service industry. As a key member of the program team, you will manage and oversee all technology deliveries within the program. Accountable for delivery of projects, and CITO workstream, accountable for all reporting to the program board and technology leadership, while collaborating with both local and global delivery teams.

You will foster strong working partnerships with the Senior Leaders in Finance , their  management team and Senior Technology Management team, to provide Strategic Direction, Change Delivery & Transformation direction & Architectural Direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Roadmap: Define and refine the IT strategy and roadmap for financial crime systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Target Architecture: Develop the target architecture for financial crime systems, including applications, data, infrastructure, and security.
  • Architectural Assessments: Conduct assessments of existing and proposed solutions, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure alignment with architectural principles.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders in IT, business, compliance, and risk functions to foster strong partnerships.
  • Communication: Articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Innovation: Identify opportunities for innovation and adapt design practices to drive collaboration within feature teams.

Essential Knowledge/Experience:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • IT Architecture Experience: Proven experience in IT architecture, particularly with financial crime systems and data.
  • Financial Crime Expertise: Solid understanding of financial crime typologies, regulations, and industry best practices (e.g., AML, KYC, Sanctions, Fraud).
  • Data Management: Strong knowledge of data management principles, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Knowledge/Experience:

  • Bridger Screening Solution: Familiarity with the Bridger Screening solution.
  • Transformational Programmes: Experience in supporting financial crime/regulatory transformational programmes and projects.
