Deliver Level 2 IT support for the CDSClear business, providing hands‑on support for in‑house trade management and risk platforms across production and test environments.
Partner closely with other CDSClear teams to advance the CDSClear delivery roadmap, including active support of non-production environments.
Participate in an out‑of‑hours on‑call rota, ensuring continuity and resilience of critical clearing services.
Support extended clearing operations as part of a late‑shift Site Reliability Engineering rota (up to 10:30 pm London time) to accommodate increased US trading hours, with scope evolving as the global support model matures.
Be responsible for the operational health of all CDSClear production and UAT environments, ensuring agreed service levels are consistently met.
Lead front‑to‑back operational support for CDSClear‑aligned and non‑aligned applications and infrastructure, maintaining day‑to‑day service stability.
Build strong working relationships with CDSClear First Line Risk, Operations, and Customer Success teams, ensuring functional and operational requirements.
Proactively align IT teams with business and production events, ensuring required IT activities are identified, planned, and performed effectively.
Own and maintain standard operating procedures before, during, and after daily clearing sessions to meet service expectations of LCH members and clients.
Run CDSClear test environments (IUA, EUA), ensuring availability, performance, and stability targets are met across all supported applications.
Supervise CDSClear IT Support team activity and optimise workload allocation across BAU support, project work, shift coverage, on‑call duties, and business events.
Coordinate and implement Disaster Recovery testing, ensuring compliance with Business Continuity and resilience standards.
Lead incident management activities, including timely escalation, cross‑team coordination, resolution, and remediation.
Own change management for CDSClear applications, coordinating delivery schedules, aligning with the enterprise change calendar, and ensuring quality gates are met prior to deployment.
Drive a continuous improvement culture to strengthen production stability and operational efficiency. Contribute to IT Change and Governance forums to prioritise enhancements supported by clear cases.
Collaborate with development teams to improve release reliability and automation, using the approved LSEG DevOps toolset.
Lead capacity and performance management, enhancing monitoring capabilities to ensure platforms scale in line with business growth, increased volumes, and new product launches.
Maintain hands‑on technical expertise across the CDSClear estate, including Unix, SQL, Control‑M, web services, and networking technologies. Exposure to AWS is advantageous.
Coordinate IT risk management activities for the CDSClear information system, including remediation of risk appetite actions and Internal Audit findings.
Act as the primary IT interface to Information Security, ensuring vulnerabilities across applications and infrastructure are identified, prioritised, and remediated.
