You will lead and coordinate the generation of a strong pipeline of CCUS opportunities. You will head up the development of pilot project opportunities with a focus on CO2 capture, transportation, storage and utilization technologies and system solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to commercialize innovative technologies, solutions and new business models.

As a CCUS Demand Generation Manager, you will be responsible within Europe for:

  • Developing leads and opportunities while coordinating with the relevant internal stakeholders to drive growth to our CCUS targets

  • Submitting technical information packages in a timely fashion, liaising with the Solution Architect team, while maintaining an holistic view on technical, economic and financial aspects

  • Partnering with the BH sales teams to support early engagement opportunities, working towards meeting or exceeding sales and profitability targets

  • Supporting the CCUS Growth Area team in setting up commercial alliances and partnerships to accelerate market adoption and pilot new business models or technology solutions

  • Providing inputs to define our value proposition from a technical and economic standpoint, presenting this to end-users and coordinating cross-business alignment

  • Facilitating rigorous cross-business alignment to enable the identification of x-business opportunities and maintaining a realistic view of the current market potential, as well as ensuring alignment with BH group and CCUS growth area strategic objectives

  • Reporting on a quarterly basis regarding the development of our project pipeline at the regional and global level, and maintaining accurate records and intelligence on our tools and systems to allow business analysis, review and forecasting

  • Monitoring market, competition, and customer-specific strategic and operational factors to ensure reliable market intelligence is available to support business decisions

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor degree in either Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or demonstrate equivalent and/or related professional expertise

  • Demonstrate a strong background in the process industry with significant experience in sales and/or tendering and/or business development within Oil & Gas or Industrial markets

  • Show an aptitude for building trusted relationships and show an understanding of customer requirements and market conditions, and how these connect with technology solutions

  • Have excellent verbal and written skills and be able to communicate fluently in English. Fluency, or communication at a professional level, in another European language is beneficial

  • Be able to travel internationally to visit customers or Baker Hughes locations (up to 25%)

  • Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external customers from project team level up to C-suite

  • Be a motivated self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to lead and solve problems

  • Have an inquisitive attitude and be motivated to be part of the energy transition
