Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Director to lead and grow CCH Tagetik’s sales efforts across the UK and Ireland region. As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that align with the company’s goals while driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. You will work closely with senior leadership, product teams, alliance partners and key stakeholders to bring CCH Tagetik’s solutions to a broad range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Lead the sales team for UK & Ireland, managing direct reports and coordinating efforts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement regional sales strategies and territory plans that align with corporate objectives, ensuring targeted growth and market share expansion.
  • Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders at enterprise-level organisations. Act as the primary point of contact for high-level client communications and negotiations.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, drive new client acquisitions, and effectively manage a pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Sales Performance: Oversee and monitor sales performance metrics, ensuring that the team delivers on key performance indicators (KPIs) and revenue goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on sales campaigns, product offerings, and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to continuously refine and adjust the sales strategy.
  • Sales Enablement: Support the sales team with training, tools, and resources to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and conversion rates.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting to senior management, maintaining a clear view of market dynamics and potential growth.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent CCH Tagetik at industry events, conferences, and webinars to increase brand visibility and attract new customers

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 7-10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in enterprise software sales or financial technology solutions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the financial performance management, budgeting, and planning solutions market, particularly in the UK & Ireland.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a sales team to exceed targets and deliver exceptional results.
  • Sales Expertise: Expertise in consultative selling, solution-based sales, and complex sales cycles. Ability to articulate business value and drive customer engagement.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to develop and execute long-term sales strategies, with a focus on both immediate results and sustainable growth.
  • Relationship Management: Experience managing C-level relationships and engaging in high-stakes negotiations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of an organization.
  • Qualifications: A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Location: Based in the UK, with the flexibility to work remotely and travel as required.
