Job Summary

In this role you will work closely with the Sales Engineering, Operations and Technical Engineering to handle, analyse and adjust the Capacity (Space, Power & Cooling) inventory within each Data Center and geographic region. As part of the UK Capacity Hub you will support the team to ensure customized solutions to efficiently allocate customer deals in consideration of technical limitation and individual customer requirements.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support data validation projects to improve data quality in different databases and AutoCAD drawings incl. physical audits on site

  • Use Equinix company tools, including AutoCAD MAP 3D to detail customer allocation

  • Help to standardize AutoCAD Drawings in order that processes become functional

  • Provide capacity analysis, small customer allocation and inventory layout integrity for our data centers

  • Work with the team to build Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Models to detect if and how the customer installation could be realised

  • Support team in documenting

 

Qualifications

  • Either finished your Bachelor studies/will complete it soon or started with your Masters within an Engineering field such as Mechanical & Electrical systems

  • AutoCAD knowledge (preferably with AutoCAD MAP 3D) as well as the ability to learn new application software

  • Ideally experiences in handling CRM Software

  • Ability to analyse different databases and make changes to increase data quality

  • A structured and collaborative approach to work with high individual initiative

  • Good English language skills

  • The chance to do a mandatory full-time internship for minimum 5-month concentrating on rather practical work instead of managing one specific project!
