We are recruiting for a Contract Camunda Software Engineer. The role is hybrid, 2 days per week onsite in London (Paddington).This role is an immediate start until the end of June.

The Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Workflow Automation: Designing and implementing complex business processes using Camunda BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) and DMN (Decision Model and Notation).
- Integration: Integrating Camunda with existing legacy systems, microservices, and modern API-driven services.
- Java Development: Developing robust process applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- System Optimization: Contributing to the stability and performance of high-volume financial services.
- Full Lifecycle Ownership: Managing the full software development lifecycle—from designing APIs to deploying and monitoring services within cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- TDD/BDD: Adhering to a "test-first" mindset, ensuring quality with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Technical Requirements:
- Core Technology: Proven experience with Camunda.
- Backend: Strong Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot experience.
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Messaging & DB: Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous messaging and databases like PostgreSQL.
- Standards: Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
