About the role.
The Campaigns and Content Manager is an operational role within the Communications function, responsible for translating strategic priorities into structured campaigns and content, identifying high-impact opportunities, and driving execution across multiple channels to strengthen external understanding of the company.
This role is the engine behind Communications campaigns designed to influence important audiences to action. It translates company strategy, innovation and impact into structured, multi-channel communication campaigns that run across earned, owned and executive channels, ensuring a steady, coherent presence beyond major announcements. It connects messaging, thought leadership, media storytelling, and owned content into reinforcing narrative waves to influence critical audiences, rather than one-off outputs.
Partnering closely with the SVP of Corporate Communications and Associate Director of Media Relations and PR, as well as senior leaders and cross-functional teams, the role bridges strategy and execution: you apply structured and strategic thinking and work collaboratively to shape themes and storylines designed to influence audiences to action, while also producing high-quality executive and corporate content. It requires strong editorial judgement, campaign thinking, and the ability to navigate complex financial and regulatory subject matter in a regulated payments environment.
What you'll do.
Corporate narrative and campaign leadership
- Translate corporate strategy and priorities into clear narrative themes and campaign platforms, scoping methods for execution and delivering campaigns that align with established direction
- Design and lead corporate narrative campaigns that run across media, executive visibility, owned channels, and events
- Coordinate and align corporate storytelling, ensuring consistent messaging across target audiences and communication channels
- Manage the corporate narrative campaign roadmap, tracking objectives, success metrics, and performance while sequencing communications activity to drive sustained visibility and measurable impact
- You leverage deep knowledge of corporate communications principles and regulatory requirements to ensure consistent and appropriate voice, positioning, and tone across corporate communications
Executive and thought leadership content
- Ghostwrite high-quality LinkedIn posts, articles, blogs, and opinion pieces for senior leaders, shaping executive positioning and visibility as part of a broader narrative campaign portfolio
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry trends to inform strategic decisions and create high-impact long-form thought leadership on payments, trust, innovation, customer impact, and market developments
- Advise and prepare senior leaders’ speeches, panel talking points, and commentary, ensuring messaging reinforces corporate narrative and strategic priorities
- Turn executive insights and business milestones into credible, externally relevant narratives
Owned channels and editorial pipeline
- Own the corporate editorial operating model, including the newsroom calendar, planning processes, and governance, ensuring consistent, high-quality storytelling that supports campaign priorities
- Produce insight-led articles, explainers, and customer or partner stories that support narrative themes
- Transform major announcements into articles, Q&A, backgrounders, and social copy to maximise reach, reinforce narrative themes, and drive sustained audience impact
- Maintain a continuous pipeline of high-quality corporate content that drives consistent visibility and reinforces narrative priorities
Story mining and cross-functional collaboration
- Collaborate with and guide cross-functional teams to surface compelling external storytelling opportunities that support senior leadership objectives and strategic priorities
- Translate complex product developments and partnerships into narrative-led corporate stories, that resonate with key audiences
- Partner closely with media relations colleagues and agency teams to ensure campaigns are supported with strong written materials
Supporting reputation, credibility and trust
- Ensure all content and campaigns consistently reflect the standards and tone expected of a regulated payments environment, applying judgement to translate complex topics into clear, accurate narratives
- Simplify complex financial, technical, and regulatory topics accurately and responsibly
- Help reinforce trust, transparency, and authority through disciplined storytelling aligned to corporate priorities
What we’re looking for.
- Proven experience in corporate communications, editorial content, and thought leadership initiatives, ideally within fintech, financial services, or other complex B2B or regulated sectors
- Demonstrated success managing and executing corporate communications campaigns and programs aligned with senior leadership strategy and delivering measurable outcomes
- Skilled in supporting senior leaders’ executive visibility and thought leadership through ghostwriting, content creation, and translating strategic priorities into compelling narratives
- Strong ability to develop narrative themes and campaign-style communications beyond one-off content creation
- Excellent long-form writing skills and editorial judgement, with meticulous attention to accuracy and clarity
- Ability to translate complex financial, technical, and regulatory topics into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences
- Sound commercial awareness, aligning communications activity with business objectives and reputation priorities
- Experience developing editorial frameworks, processes, and campaign planning approaches that improve team effectiveness
- Proven ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and time-constrained subject matter experts
- Strong organisational and project management skills, managing multiple projects and editorial pipelines independently in ambiguous or evolving environments
- Highly collaborative and cross-functional, working effectively across communications, product, legal, risk, and commercial teams to deliver results
