About The Role

The mission of Business Value Manager is to support new customer acquisition and add-on business through delivery of collaborative consulting engagements and deal, structuring support through strategic development of Investment Justifications, Business Cases, Value Based Proposals, and building Account/Commercial strategies.

Within the role you will;

  • Build and deliver compelling ROI projections and business cases to secure investment for monday.com, including to senior and C-Level Executives
  • Working with account executives, account managers and broader account teams to capture key value drivers that form the basis for business case creation
  • Understand, capture and navigate the complex and conflicting interests of key stakeholders involved in purchasing process, and ensure business value assessments account for those personas
  • Lead, build, and deliver compelling value assessments together with account teams to senior stakeholders in prospect and customer organisations
  • Ensure a requisite balance in business cases between efficiency and effectiveness, with appropriate attention given to revenue, as well as cost and risk
  • Interface with product alignment and service teams to ensure that value propositions align with customer requirements
  • Templatise business value assessment best practice such that the broader commercial organisation can benefit
  • Translate monday.com’s value framework into persona and vertical vernacular, and capturing that for wider adoption by the commercial organisation
  • Using similar mechanisms and processes as for business value assessment, templatise business value realisation process and assets to support renewals processes

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in a business consulting or value consulting/engineering role
  • Outstanding interpersonal and questioning skills, able to get to the heart of business challenges and problems without appearing interrogative
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and written and verbal communication skills
  • Particularly adept at understanding the needs of buyers, finance, procurement and compliance functions and their interaction as part of a buying process
  • Excellent understanding of the importance of information design, experience building highly credible and digestible business cases
  • Strong ability to build, quantify insights and communicate recommendations to CxOs
  • Fluent English language skills, French and German beneficial
  • Proven experience in a technology-focused SaaS sales environment, and a keen understanding of recurring revenue models
  • Demonstrated ability to build and deliver persuasive business cases across stakeholder groups
  • Strong understanding of ROI, NPV, and Payback metrics calculations and business value selling methodologies.
  • Experience of Command of the Message and MEDDPICC as methodologies beneficial
