The Role: 

As a Business Systems Analyst / Administrator on the Business Systems and Insights team, you’ll serve as the bridge between business operations and technology. You’ll analyze, configure, and maintain our core systems to drive efficiency, support financial workflows, and deliver strategic solutions.

Location: This role requires 2-3 days a week in office in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across finance, operations, and product teams. 
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, system workflows, and configuration design. 
• Configure, administer, and maintain enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, accounting, CRM, back-office tools). 
• Lead system upgrades, new implementations, and integration projects; manage vendor relationships. 
• Develop and execute test plans, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate system changes. 
• Train end users, create documentation (user guides, SOPs), and provide post-implementation support. 
• Monitor system performance, perform root cause analysis for issues, and proactively recommend process improvements. 
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal controls relating to financial systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. 
• 3–6 years of experience in a business systems analyst or systems administrator role within financial services, fintech, or accounting systems.
• Strong understanding of financial operations, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements. 
• Proficiency with system configuration, user management, and role-based permissions.
• Hands-on experience with system testing, UAT, and issue resolution.
• Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa. 
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and process-improvement skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)
• Experience administering SaaS platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Hubspot) 
• Experience working in a high-growth or startup environment.
• Prior exposure to financial reporting, accounting automations, or transactional systems.

For residents of San Francisco, CA the annual salary range for this role is $122,000 - $150,000+ annual bonus. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors
