The Deposit Protection Service (DPS), a division of Computershare, manages one of three Tenancy Deposit Protection Schemes across the UK. A role you will love

As a Business Support Senior Administrator, you’ll work at a strategic regional level within the DPS division, collaborating closely with teams across Operations, the DPS Contact Centre, Risk, Billing and the Financial Crime Unit. This is a varied and impactful role offering a high level of autonomy, where you’ll confidently manage your workload, meet deadlines, and work independently while contributing to the smooth running of the wider business. It’s well suited to an experienced administrator who enjoys responsibility alongside balance and flexibility.

Reporting to the Business Support Manager, you’ll manage escalated queries from the Administration Support Team, helping ensure work is completed in line with service level agreements. You’ll provide guidance and oversight to colleagues, prepare daily and weekly reports, check data accuracy, and support government and risk reporting. You’ll also assist with resolving system related issues by logging and prioritising incidents, keeping stakeholders informed and sharing key communications across the business.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage Subject Access Requests (SARs) and make sure they’re completed on time
  • Providing clear and helpful responses to client and colleague queries, both written and verbal
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of Business Support Team processes and wider business procedures 
  • Acting as a Business Continuity Champion or Deputy, ensuring all obligations are met 
  • Working independently and confidently, even when deadlines are tight 
  • Supporting risk management activity and contributing to ad hoc projects as required 
  • Reviewing and improving processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the team

Salary, location and hours

This hybrid role involves working 60% of your time in the office and 40% working from home, you’ll work between 20 and 22.5 hours per week, between Monday and Friday, no weekends. Starting salary is £26,000 pro rata, dependent on experience and interview performance. Candidates must live within an hour’s commute of our Bristol office (Bridgwater Road, South Bristol, BS13 8AE).
