Job Description

Flexible working – We work in a hybrid environment where you will be required to be in the office for a minimum of two days per week.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the PA Consulting Business Support team and play a pivotal role within leadership support across PA.

 

Our Consulting Business Support function has been specially designed to support our capabilities and Go-To-Markets with support to Partners and generally ensuring the smooth running of the team, allowing our Partners and Consultants to focus on client projects.

 

You will work closely with Partners, Consultants and external clients. Working as part of a busy Business Support team, the role requires someone friendly, approachable, and confident who has great communication skills, and preferably used to working in a team environment and with other Business Support staff.

 

This is a great opportunity to engage in full spectrum of activities, for someone who has the drive and desire to succeed. You will gain excellent business experience whilst also developing your knowledge and skills in a fast-moving environment.

 

You will lead and coordinate the Consulting Business Support teams to deliver high-quality service through:

  • Line management of Business Support team members, coaching, and mentoring to support professional growth and career development.
  • Point of contact for all HR related issues for complex queries.
  • Ensuring a consistent employee engagement throughout the employee lifecycle, e.g. Partner support, onboarding/offboarding, HR time management
  • Supporting leaders with HR processes, diary/inbox management, and recognition initiatives.
  • Developing strategic workforce plans to ensure sustainable Consultant-to-support ratios.
  • Point of contact for adherence to PA policies and values.
  • Support the smooth running of our sales and assignments
  • Representing Business Support in governance meetings, accountable and responsible to provide updates on change process implementation plans and arising actions.  
  • Manage resourcing to respond to business requirements, e.g. support for complex accounts / assignments
  • Additional ad hoc support to leads such as diary and inbox management

 

Qualifications

 

  • You are a confident, approachable, and highly organised professional with excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • You will have experience of managing and overseeing all administration, supporting projects, building strong relationships, and providing insight into trends and team development.
  • You will also feel comfortable in supporting the C-Suite individuals across business matters, ensuring seamless coordination and discretion at all times.
  • Experience in managing others and maintaining confidentiality is essential.
  • You will possess resilience in managing a busy and varied workload

 

This role will also require security clearance and whilst you may not currently hold this you should be happy to complete this process.
