Support the achievement of budgeted EBITDA by assisting Supply Chain, Customer Service and Sales. Responsibilities include customs compliance, report running, and customer account management.
About the role:To contribute to the achievement and maximisation of agreed budgeted EBITDA by supporting, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Sales departments.Responsibilities:
- Shared responsibility for ensuring the effective import on all solvent products from Europe that will include customs compliance, liaising with customs agents and working with the stock/transport team to ensure the smooth delivery of stock into multiple UK sites.
- Checking product duty requirements for all product imported from Europe.
- Running of relevant reports as required.
- Managing all aspects of service for a variety of key customer accounts.
- Cover Customer Service during times of absence (minimum 25 days PA).
- IBC and Spec Management.
- Supplier account set up.
- Supplier Price List maintenance.
- Product Code Creation responsibility/cover for all codes on the solvent trading points.
- Daily checking of Sales Orders.
- Chasing customer licences for tied oil, ethanol etc.
- Completion and distribution of monthly customer reports.
- Running alerts and sending order requirements to Solvents Purchase on a daily basis.
- Supporting the Solvent Product Managers on any ad hoc tasks as required such as quality, commercial and technical requirements.
- Undertake any reasonable tasks or duties assigned by the Business Manager – Solvents from time to time, related to the effective performance of the job and providing they are within the post holders skills and ability
- Experience in a Customer Service fast paced environment
