About the Role

This position plays a pivotal role as a strategic enabler and operational catalyst within the executive office. This position is ideally suited to an individual who excels in dynamic, high-pressure environments and possesses a strong ability to distil complex issues into clear, actionable insights. This role not only drives momentum for the executives they support but also fosters alignment across teams and energises stakeholders to deliver on shared goals.

Key responsibilities include the coordination and oversight of high-impact initiatives, ensuring that strategic priorities are translated into tangible outcomes. The role demands a proactive approach to managing workflows, anticipating challenges, and removing barriers to execution. By maintaining a sharp focus on strategic intent, this role ensures that decisions made at the executive level are effectively implemented and monitored.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the executive in executing key organisational priorities.

  • Tracking and delivering strategic priorities and OKRs, ensuring alignment across the business.

  • Partnering with internal teams to support communication and implementation of change initiatives.

  • Engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders to orchestrate communications, manage budgets, and support governance activities.

  • Working with a variety of stakeholders across the business including Finance to develop and manage key updates on lead generation, and sales, including pipeline, conversion data, and other qualitative and quantitative information. Monthly and on the Quarter, the role holder will be required to collate information into succinct Board and Executive updates so that management information can be debated to drive improved results.

  • Continuously improve the quality of distribution MI and information on targets and targeted intermediaries.  Acting as a key point of contact for the team as well as providing general support across Management of team forward looking calendar, ensuring key meetings are well-prepared for. An excellent candidate will be proactive in the management of this, working with this team to ensure preparedness for upcoming meetings

  • Having a clear view of key initiatives and working with members of the team to ensure that we prioritise those that will deliver the most value to our clients and to Quilter Cheviot.

  • Participating as a proactive member of the team and from time to time picking up additional tasks to support the leadership team.

  • Coordinating and preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders.

  • Maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion at all times.

  • Managing conflicting priorities and supporting the executive in managing theirs.

About You

  • Previous experience working within a COO or CEO office, ideally from within Wealth management or Financial Services background

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-trust environment.

  • Has strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Is comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities.

  • Can manage multiple priorities and deliver initiatives on time.

  • Navigates complex environments and manages senior stakeholders with strong influencing skills.

  • Is skilled in writing for influence (e.g., speeches, executive briefings).

  • Builds sustainable relationships and communicates at all levels.
