Cushman & Wakefield is a global leader in commercial real estate services, helping clients transform the way people work, shop, and live. With 44,000 employees across more than 60 countries, we deliver deep local and global insights that create significant value for occupiers and investors. Our $5 billion business spans agency leasing, asset services, capital markets, facilities services, global occupier services, investment management, tenant representation, and valuations & advisory.

Key Responsibilities

1. Centralised Operations Delivery
  • Lead and coordinate central operations across the entire Amazon account platform.

  • Act as the conduit for all non‑BAU activity, ensuring alignment between Transition Management, Operations, Technical, and Finance teams.

  • Drive consistency, integration, and seamless service delivery across all regions.

2. Transition Management
  • Partner with Transition Management and Execution teams to oversee all transition activity, including onboarding, offboarding, handbacks, and sub‑lettings.

  • Ensure project scopes are clearly defined, managed, reported, and delivered end‑to‑end.

  • Lead transition governance for activities such as handbacks, new sub‑leases, and new business onboarding.

3. Project Management
  • Own the delivery of account‑wide projects, managing plans, milestones, risks, and stakeholders.

  • Hold internal teams accountable for delivering commitments and maintaining project discipline.

  • Examples include handback projects, supplier onboarding, and operational improvement initiatives.

4. Portfolio Management & Change Control
  • Manage governance for all change activity across the account.

  • Ensure actions are clearly defined, tracked, and completed by the relevant teams.

  • Maintain accurate and robust records, including joinder removals, FAMIS updates, and playbook revisions.

5. New Business Support
  • Support the Account Director in identifying, shaping, and winning new business opportunities across EMEA and globally.

  • Lead the operational transition of new workstreams into BAU, ensuring seamless handover and integration.

  • Examples include augmented services, new operational programmes, and expanded service lines.

6. Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the operational face of the account, building strong relationships with key Amazon stakeholders.

  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, not just an operator.

  • Leverage relationships to support delivery, influence outcomes, and identify opportunities.

7. Reporting & Insight
  • Deliver high‑quality reporting across projects, transitions, and change activity.

  • Move beyond reporting to provide strategic insight, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Use your account‑wide visibility to drive continuous improvement and informed decision‑making.

8. Deputising for the Account Director
  • Step in for the Account Director as required, representing the account at senior levels.

  • Support broader workstreams within the AD remit, ensuring continuity of leadership and delivery.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to operate at pace in a dynamic, high‑expectation environment.

  • Strong organisational discipline with a focus on delivery and driving tasks to completion.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insight into action.

  • Confident working independently across multiple countries and workstreams.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to influence without authority and manage cross‑functional teams.

  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally once per month.

Experience

  • Proven experience in business operations, programme management, or account operations within a complex, multi‑site environment.

  • Experience managing transitions, projects, or change portfolios.

  • Background in real estate, facilities management, or a related operational field (preferred).

  • Experience working with large, multinational clients; Amazon experience is advantageous.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Operations, Real Estate, or related field (preferred).

  • Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) desirable.

  • Valid passport and ability to travel across Europe as required.
