Job Description

The Business Manager at Northern Data Group plays a crucial role in supporting the CEO Office and leadership team across business operations, project coordination, and corporate affairs. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This position is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) for maternity cover.

You will play a critical role in preparing materials, coordinating projects, and ensuring smooth execution of key meetings, events & initiatives. 
 
This is a developmental role, designed for someone eager to gain exposure to senior leadership environments while focusing on delivery and co-ordination. 
 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Project Support & Coordination 

  • Assist in coordinating cross-functional projects by maintaining timelines, trackers, and status updates. 

  • Support project delivery by collecting inputs, consolidating information, and preparing regular progress reports. 

  • Track deliverables and ensure follow-ups are completed on time. 

  • Conduct desk research to support ongoing projects, preparing summaries or draft slides for senior review. 

  • Own value-driven, strategic initiatives end-to-end and support high-priority projects by coordinating inputs, consolidating data, and preparing draft materials for the senior team. 
     

Leadership Support & Materials Preparation 

  • Prepare briefing packs and draft presentations for leadership meetings, investor sessions, and roadshows. 

  • Consolidate data and insights from across teams into clear, structured documents. 

  • Maintain version control of sensitive materials and ensure documents are accurate and up to date. 
     

Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up 

  • Support Monthly Business Review (MBR) preparation by gathering inputs and standardising submissions. 

  • Capture meeting minutes and action points, distributing and following up as required. 

  • Help coordinate scheduling and logistics for leadership and board-level meetings. 
     

Research & Content Development 

  • Provide first drafts of decks, memos, or research notes for review by senior colleagues. 

  • Carry out market and partner research to support strategic projects and business development initiatives. 

  • Maintain organised records and knowledge repositories for ongoing work-streams. 

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, business support, or operations. 

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a focus on follow-through. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel). 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field preferred.
