You'll work closely with many teams across Reinsurance and Finance Operations, Finance, Actuarial, Underwriting Operations, Placements, Product Owners and external parties to ensure operational excellence and sustainable improvement.

  • Lead improvement of BAU processes, identifying inefficiencies and embedding practical, scalable solutions.

  • Own and develop complex Alteryx workflows, ensuring robustness, continuity and governance

  • Train and support BAU users to improve understanding and effective use of the platform

  • Identify and implement process improvements using Alteryx and other complementary applications, with a strong focus on automation

  • Support the evolution of improvement capability, including opportunities to leverage AI in the future

  • Act as delivery lead across multiple initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes

  • Analyse processes, define metrics and track benefits to demonstrate measurable improvement

  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and assess the downstream impact of process and system changes

About you

  • Strong hands-on experience with Alteryx is essential, including the design and support of complex workflows

  • Experience working within a global, matrixed insurance environment, ideally with reinsurance exposure

  • Proven background in improving BAU processes while delivering longer-term improvement initiatives

  • Comfortable operating as a subject matter expert while coaching and enabling others

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable improvements

  • Adept at managing initiatives from concept through to implementation, including facilitating workshops to capture and define requirements

  • Confident engaging and influencing stakeholders across different functions and geographies

  • Motivated by growth and keen to help shape a new role and capability within the team
