This job title is known internally as System Transformation Specialist.

We have a role in our Advanced Wound Management business where you can really make an impact. We're looking for someone create and deliver commercial strategies to drive new wins and market share growth across the ICS landscape. Through engagement with senior clinical and non-clinical decision makers, you will prepare value-based healthcare proposals aligned with NHS agenda. Reporting to the Director for System Transformation, your internal partners will be S+N Commercial Leads, Sales Director and Area Business Leaders

Your role will include:

  • Commercial deal delivery to customers - creating propositions for our new and existing customers across your territory ensuring they are positioned to deliver the highest returns.
  • Embedding our custom ordering platform and other digital enablers with our customers. By understanding their needs you will be able to increase the throughput of business via this channel to disrupt competitor growth strategies and achieve better outcomes for our patients.
  • Creating clear market segmentation and deep customer understanding to build value based healthcare proposals. A key focus will be looking at the burden of stalled wounds and how the Smith + Nephew stalled wounds program can meet the needs of the customer.
  • Develop a strong customer network with senior executives which will be used to develop national business opportunities and to recruit pathfinders for market access with emerging new customer groups in the NHS.

To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • Strong commercial sales experience within the medical device industry
  • Significant experience selling to senior (non clinical) NHS customers at a regional or national level.
