Job Description

At Endava, our Commercial team is all about growth — building strong client partnerships, staying ahead of industry trends, and helping businesses solve complex challenges through technology. As a vital part of this team, you’ll learn from experienced professionals while playing a hands-on role in driving business development efforts.

We’re looking for a Business Development executive at the early stage of their sales career — ideally with 2–3 years’ experience in tech sales — who’s looking to build deeper commercial and consultative selling skills.

This is a hands-on learning opportunity — perfect for someone looking to move beyond lead gen or inside sales into a more strategic, consultative role in high-growth industries — all while being supported by a collaborative and experienced sales team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support the sales pipeline by reaching out to new and existing clients in growth industries like Energy and the Public Sector

  • Assist in preparing client materials and proposals, working closely with senior team members to craft compelling pitches

  • Help coordinate and carry out outreach activities to build strong relationships with prospects

  • Learn to communicate Endava’s value proposition, with guidance and mentorship from experienced sales and delivery leads

  • Maintain and update a list of target accounts, helping to define key client profiles and sales strategies

  • Stay on top of industry trends and pain points, using that knowledge to support conversations and client-facing materials

  • Join meetings and discussions with clients and industry professionals to gain experience and contribute to relationship-building efforts

  • Attend external industry events to expand your understanding of the market and connect with potential clients

  • Support sales and marketing alignment by reviewing lead lists, researching prospects, and helping prioritise outreach

This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who’s ready to learn, contribute, and grow within a supportive and ambitious environment. If you’re curious, proactive, and excited about tech and business — we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales/similar, within technology
  • Knowledgeable about industry trends, emerging technologies
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage with senior stakeholders;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, with a passion for achieving targets and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
