We are seeking a talented and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team and play a key role in expanding our customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Generate quality sales opportunities for CHEQ Enterprise platform through proactive and strategic prospecting work
- Research accounts to understand prospects’ needs and build a plan for how to educate the prospect on the benefits of CHEQ’s platforms
- Use email, cold calls, Linkedin and other methods to engage CHEQ’s ideal prospects and move them down the sales pipeline
- Maintain up-to-date records in CRM and other tools
- Responsible for meeting BDR metrics, assigned goals and quarterly targets
- Keep up to date with product and industry knowledge
- Become a credible resource and develop trusted relationships with prospects
- Work closely with the Account Executives team to identify and uncover opportunities at target accounts
- Work closely with your Director and VP to support successful outbound campaigns
- Sales experience in SaaS companies - Major Advantage
- Startup mindset – make things happen, self-learning, winning attitude, go above and beyond, out-of-the-box thinking
- Hunter - comfortable to make outbound cold calling targeting multiple level contacts including executive management - MUST
- Excellent in prospecting, nurturing, educating and qualifying target prospects to create sales-ready opportunities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and resources effectively
- Superior pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling skills
- Superb communications skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to demonstrate products highlighting benefits/advantages/features
- Self-starter, with a high-energy, positive phone presence
- Ability to work from the office 4 days a week
