Company

Founded in 2018 by CPAs, tax attorneys, and software developers, Taxbit is creating an entirely new category to enable widespread compliant adoption of digital assets for the global economy. Taxbit’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform streamlines and automates customers’ tax reporting and accounting activities for digital assets.

Trusted by leading crypto, tech, and traditional enterprises, Big 4 accounting firms, and government agencies (including the IRS), Taxbit solves compliance challenges at scale amidst an ever-evolving regulatory landscape. Taxbit is backed by leading Silicon Valley VCs with teams located in New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, Salt Lake City, and Europe.

Opportunity for Impact

As the European-focused BDR, you’ll be critical to the growth of our business by helping identify, engage, and qualify strategic new opportunities that fuel our pipeline and growth. This role is ideal for someone energized by connecting with people, curious about solving complex challenges, and excited to contribute directly to the company’s success. This role would be located in and focused on strategic regions within Europe.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and revenue operations, gaining exposure to all aspects of go-to-market strategy while playing a critical role in expanding Taxbit’s customer base.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategic outreach through phone, email, social, and other channels to generate qualified sales opportunities
  • Qualify and engage inbound & outbound leads to set up qualified meetings
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other stakeholders to map out strategic account engagement plans
  • Research target accounts and personalize outreach strategies to engage key decision-makers
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activity in HubSpot
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to align messaging, ICP targeting, and campaign execution
  • Continuously test and refine messaging to increase engagement and conversion rates
  • Stay informed on industry trends, strategic account information, and the regulatory landscape

Professional Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in B2B SaaS
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Proficiency in main European languages is a plus but not required
  • Strong CRM management skills (preferably Hubspot)
  • Curious, coachable, and excited to grow your career in a high-performance sales team
  • Familiarity with setting up and managing multiple campaigns and follow-ups
  • Self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn about the rapidly evolving global compliance landscape. Experience within Compliance, Tax Information Reporting, and/or Digital Assets is a bonus but not required
  • Strong interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, with a proactive approach to learning and experimentation.

The base salary range for this role is £35,000 - £50,000. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. Actual compensation will vary depending on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to location, experience, level, and job qualifications.
