Business Development Representative
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative to serve as a key liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving business growth by engaging with inbound leads, identifying new opportunities, and proactively building relationships with prospective customers.

This will be a hybrid-position based out of the London office.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the outreach process by proactively identifying and engaging with key decision-makers at target accounts to establish and nurture strong relationships.
- Assess potential customers’ business needs, pain points, and challenges, and qualify their budget, timelines, and obstacles before handing overqualified leads to the appropriate sales team member.
- Evaluate prospects' interest and recommend the best-fit Exiger solutions based on their needs.
- Manage and prioritize your assigned territory, aiming to make connections with as many relevant contacts as possible.
- Collaborate with Account Managers during opportunity reviews, sharing insights and working together to move opportunities forward.
- Meet or exceed quarterly targets for lead generation, opportunity creation, and pipeline growth, as set by sales leadership.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal stakeholders through phone, email, in-person meetings, and regular system updates.
- Use independent judgment to assess and validate both inbound and outbound leads through multiple channels, including phone, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns.
- Track sales activities, including lead qualifications and pipeline development, in the CRM to keep internal teams aligned and informed.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of new marketing strategies to position Exiger products effectively and secure new business.
What You’ll Need:
- At least 2 years of experience in inside sales or business development, preferably within the software industry.
- A personable and engaging communicator with the ability to build rapport and initiate conversations with prospects.
- Proven success in generating leads and creating sales opportunities.
- Experience working collaboratively within a team sales environment.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects with minimal oversight.
- Proficient in SFA/CRM/Contact Management software, with experience in Salesforce.com being a plus.
- Prior experience or understanding of industries like Manufacturing, Retail, or Supply Chain is highly desirable.
- German language proficiency is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
