About the Role:

The mission of the BDR is to generate and qualify sell-out demand by engaging installers, contractors, end customers, and influencers, and to route this demand to channel partners so that the Account Executive (AE) can secure corresponding sell-in orders.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the residential, SME, and light commercial AC segments.
  • Execute outbound sales activities (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events) to reach potential end customers and installers.
  • Route qualified leads to the appropriate channel partners (distributors, VARs, certified installers) for closing.
  • Support partner pipeline by providing ready-to-convert opportunities.
  • Research market segments to identify new installer networks, potential B2B buyers, or niche applications.
  • Collaborate with partner account managers to prioritize high-potential opportunities and monitor progress.
  • Participate in channel marketing campaigns to boost lead generation and conversion.
  • Keep CRM data accurate and up to date, tracking leads from creation to partner handover.

Customer Profiles:

  • Small and Medium Businesses (hospitality, retail, offices)
  • Property Managers with small-scale EV charging needs
  • Local public sector (small municipal projects)
  • Installers and Electrical Contractors seeking EV charging solutions

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or lead generation, ideally in technical, electrical, or renewable energy products.
  • Experience in outbound prospecting and generating pipeline for indirect and/or direct sales channels.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with partners and installers.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and disciplined in activity tracking.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and motivated by meeting activity and lead-generation KPIs.
  • Native British english is required.
