ISS STOXX is offering an exciting, fast paced, team oriented, sales position for someone looking to start a career in financial services sales. You will gain experience under the mentorship of a seasoned sales team and start to build your Rolodex. In this role you will market to and interact with representatives across the board from large financial institutions to RIA's and asset owners. The exposure and experience gained will help springboard your career in an Institutional Sales Role.

As the Business Development Representative, you will identify new business prospects in EMEA and bring to market our investor solution products.

Additionally, in this role you will:

  • Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities by engaging with C-level executives and investment professionals to foster meaningful relationships.

  • Collaborate with senior representatives to develop strategic territory plans, contributing insights and identifying high-potential accounts for prospecting.

  • Build expertise in financial concepts such as corporate governance and asset management to effectively articulate the value of our solutions.

  • Utilize cutting-edge sales and marketing tools to deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our services.

  • Conduct targeted research to identify and generate new leads, supporting Sales Representatives in expanding their client base.

  • Handle inbound leads from marketing campaigns and our website, qualifying leads and facilitating calls and meetings for Sales Representatives.

  • Assist the sales team in expanding and developing geographical sales territories, providing valuable insights and market intelligence.

  • Share client/prospect insights and market intelligence with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and capitalize on new opportunities.

  • Attend relevant industry events to stay updated on trends and developments, networking with key stakeholders and representing our organization professionally.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 1-2 years of work experience or internship

  • Financial Services Background (Preferred but not Required): Prior experience in selling within the Financial Services industry is advantageous.

  • Outbound Sales Experience: Experience in making outbound sales calls is preferred.

  • Desire for Continuous Learning: Demonstrated interest in learning about our financial research business.

  • Ambition for Career Growth: Aspire to grow into a professional senior sales executive role.

  • Technological Proficiency: Ability to utilize lead generating software and quickly adapt to new technologies.

  • Strong Organizational Skills: Highly organized, goal-oriented, and capable of independent thinking.

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Collaborative team player with a high level of emotional intelligence.

  • Soft Skills Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Specifically, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

 

The role is bonus or sales incentive eligible.
