We're looking for a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to drive the sourcing, negotiation, and licensing of third‑party intellectual property that powers Playtech’s future. Job Description

Your Influential Mission: You Will…

  • Identify and evaluate third‑party IP suitable for licensing and integration into Playtech’s products and services.
  • Develop and execute strategies to effectively acquire and license external IP assets.
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with IP owners, technology providers, studios, and industry partners.
  • Negotiate licensing agreements, commercial terms, and contract structures to secure favourable rights for Playtech.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential IP assets, assessing value, scope, risks, and licensing feasibility.
  • Collaborate closely with legal, finance, management, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
  • Manage ongoing licensing relationships, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, evolving IP laws, competitive landscapes, and best practices to maximise future opportunities.

Qualifications

Components for Success: You…

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Bring proven experience in licensing third‑party IP, technology transfer, or business development, ideally within the gaming or technology sector.
  • Have a strong understanding of IP rights, licensing frameworks, and negotiation principles.
  • Communicate with confidence and clarity, building strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possess excellent negotiation, relationship‑management, and stakeholder‑influencing skills.
  • Think strategically and commercially, quickly identifying promising external IP opportunities.
  • Are self‑driven, organised, and able to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.

  • Experience working directly with gaming studios, media/IP partners, content providers, or technology licensors.
  • A track record of scaling licensing portfolios or opening new partnership channels.
  • Existing networks within gaming, entertainment, media, or technology ecosystems.
