Infopro Digital, the B2B group specialising in information and technology, is currently looking for a Business Development Manager on a permanent contract to strengthen the team at its Chartis Research business based in London.

Chartis Research is a leading provider of research, intelligence and advisory services focused on the global financial technology market. With a team of experienced professionals and industry experts, Chartis delivers insights and analysis that help organisations make informed decisions in areas such as risk management, compliance, data management and cybersecurity.

Chartis is part of Infopro Digital is a B2B group specialising in information and technology. With a presence in 20 countries, the group has 4,000 employees of 79 nationalities.

We are seeking a driven and commercially minded professional who will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities while managing and expanding relationships with existing clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and networking
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations
  • Provide consultative sales approach and effectively communicate the value of Chartis Research offerings to potential clients
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations to key stakeholders
  • Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline and records in CRM system
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor analysis
  • Represent Chartis Research at industry conferences, events, and client meetings

Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role
  • Experience selling B2B solutions or services, ideally within the financial technology or professional services industry
  • Strong network of industry contacts and ability to develop new relationships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate complex concepts and solutions
  • Self-motivated and target-driven individual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and MS Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel as required
