Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, Trend Life

Location: UK

About Trend Micro

Trend Micro is a global cybersecurity leader with more than 35 years of experience protecting digital lives worldwide - from individuals to large enterprises. Recognized as a leader in consumer digital life protection, the company combines deep threat research, advanced AI-driven technologies, and user-centric solutions to safeguard millions of individuals and families across connected devices and online activities.

We have 7,000 employees across 65 countries, singularly focused on security and passionate about making the world a safer and better place.

Trend Micro is expanding its consumer cybersecurity presence in Europe through strategic B2B2C partnerships with organizations that serve large consumer bases, such as telecommunications providers, financial institutions, fintechs, insurers, and digital platforms.

We are seeking an experienced Partner Development Manager to drive this growth across the region.

The Role:

This is a high-impact business development role focused on establishing and scaling our consumer business to deliver Trend Micro’s consumer cybersecurity solutions to end-users via trusted partners.

You will own the full partnership lifecycle — from identifying opportunities, developing commercial models, and closing deals, to executing go-to-market initiatives in collaboration with internal and partner teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Acquisition & Relationship Management
  • Identify, engage, and secure strategic partnerships with telcos, banks, fintechs, and digital platforms with large consumer bases.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders in partner organizations.
  • Negotiate and close mutually beneficial commercial agreements.
  • B2B2C Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies that drive uptake of Trend Micro’s consumer products via partner ecosystems (e.g., bundles, integrated services, cobranded offers).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (product, legal, marketing, operations) to deliver partner-ready solutions.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitor activity across Europe to evolve strategy and prioritize opportunities.
  • Provide insights to internal teams to enhance product-market fit and customer value propositions.
  • Event Participation & Brand Positioning
  • Identify and coordinate Trend Micro’s participation in key regional events to enhance visibility, generate leads, and foster partner relationships.
  • Performance Management
  • Manage a sales and partnership pipeline using CRM tools.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 years + experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within technology, cybersecurity, telecom, or financial services industries.
  • Proven success in B2B2C or embedded product models, preferably involving consumer digital services or subscriptions.
  • Solid understanding of the European tech market – ideally within security or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead partner negotiations, close deals, and manage post-sale execution.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter, strategic thinker, and results oriented.
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in business, marketing, technology, or a related field.
