What you will accomplish...

Seller Acquisition:
  • Drive platform growth through new seller acquisition, strategic partnerships, and inventory expansion.

  • Identify, secure, and activate high-value sellers who bring strategic relevance, operational readiness, and scalable impact to eBay Live.

  • Operate with a hunter mindset—relentlessly pursuing opportunities, forging relationships, and capturing untapped seller potential to expand the marketplace.

  • Thrive on curiosity, speed, and precision—continuously moving forward to uncover, engage, and convert top-performing sellers.

Analytics & Performance Analysis:
  • Drive GMV per seller, seller acquisition targets, and support eBay Live category strategies.

  • Coordinate and drive pipeline health, forecasting, and reporting to ensure accuracy and accountability across the BD funnel.

  • Set and evaluate revenue targets, make budget investment decisions, and ensure high value.

Negotiation Expertise:
  • Negotiate business terms and partnership agreements with high-value sellers and inventory partners.

  • Draft terms sheets and collaborate with eBay’s legal team to complete contracts.

Industry Expertise:
  • Stay current with web and technology industry trends, especially as they relate to e-commerce.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and passion within key eBay verticals such as collectibles and fashion.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities, category trends, and potential partnership targets.

  • Have a deep understanding of various business models and their application within live shopping and e-commerce platforms.

Team Leadership & Development:
  • Coach, mentor, and develop BD Associates and Sales Coordinators to strengthen selling, negotiation, and analytical capabilities.

  • Foster a culture that empowers the team to take initiative, experiment, and pursue success through continuous improvement.

  • Use performance insights to guide development, celebrate wins, and address growth areas with transparency and precision.

What you will bring...

  • Proven experience in Business Development and/or as an Account Executive.

  • Results-oriented approach.

  • Driven by non-GMV benchmarks.

  • Proven experience working with external and cross-functional partners.

  • Excellent relationship management skills.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Outstanding analytical skills, including strong proficiency in Excel.

  • Familiarity with prevalent internet marketing methodologies.

  • CRM experience required, with a strong preference for Salesforce.
