Join Glenigan as a Business Development Manager and take ownership of winning new customers for our construction market intelligence solutions.

This is a genuine new business role. You will open conversations, understand what matters commercially and show how Glenigan can help customers make better informed decisions. You will own the journey from first contact through qualification and close. It will suit someone who enjoys creating momentum, rather than someone looking to inherit an established account base.

You’ll work from our London Blackfriars hub three days a week. When we’re together, we share what’s working, work through challenges and help each other keep opportunities moving.

What you’ll make happen
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through consistent prospecting alongside opportunities provided by the business

  • Research prospective customers and identify where Glenigan could create genuine commercial value

  • Reach senior decision makers and lead conversations that uncover their priorities and buying process

  • Show how the right Glenigan solution can support the customer’s commercial goals

  • Qualify opportunities honestly, agree clear next steps and keep accurate CRM records

  • Own each opportunity through to a clear decision and win new customers

What success will take

You will need experience of winning new B2B business and the confidence to create opportunities rather than wait for them. We are likely to be a good match if you:

  • Are comfortable prospecting consistently and opening cold conversations

  • Ask direct questions, listen carefully and understand what matters commercially

  • Can build credibility with senior decision makers and handle challenging conversations constructively

  • Know how to qualify opportunities, maintain momentum and take responsibility for results

Experience selling SaaS, data or market intelligence would be useful. Construction knowledge could also help, but neither is required if your new business approach transfers.

Why Glenigan

At Glenigan, you’ll sell market intelligence that helps construction businesses find opportunities earlier, understand their markets and make better commercial decisions.

You’ll be working with an established proposition in a defined market, with a clear reason for customers to listen: better visibility of the projects, markets and organisations that could support their growth. You’ll own the journey from first conversation to new customer.

What you get
  • £70,000 OTE Yr2 with uncapped earning potential

  • £55,000 OTE Yr1 with uncapped earning potential
  • A London role with three days in the hub and two working from home

  • An established construction intelligence proposition with a defined market

  • Ownership of the complete new business journey, from creating an opportunity to winning the customer

  • The chance to use your experience and make a visible contribution to Glenigan’s growth

What to expect when you apply

After you apply, we’ll ask you to complete a 45-minute sales assessment before an interview. It helps us understand your approach to selling, and we’ll consider it alongside your experience.

Ready to build your future?

We will expect consistent prospecting, sound commercial judgement and follow through. In return, you will have the freedom to use your experience, own the sale and see how your work contributes to Glenigan’s growth.

If you enjoy creating new business from the first conversation and want to sell market intelligence that supports real commercial decisions, we would like to hear from you.
