Business Development Manager - South West region

Q Underwriting an MGA (part of PIB Group) was created from multiple underwriting brands with extensive history in their chosen niches. Q Underwriting provides 30+ niche commercial lines products – all backed by A rated insurers. All our products are underwritten in-house by Q’s experienced team and can be traded via the Qtrade portal or by direct access to empowered underwriters.

There now exists an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to cover the South West of England Region

What you will be doing:

• Manage and develop relationships with a panel of insurance brokers to drive profitable growth

• Analyse broker performance, market trends, and competitor activity to inform strategy

• Deliver regular performance reviews and provide actionable insights to brokers

• Proactively seek new business opportunities within the broker network

• Prepare and present reports, forecasts, and business cases to senior management

• Comfortable working remotely and managing own schedule to meet objectives

• Experience in insurance and broker management essential

• Willingness to travel for broker meetings and industry events as required
