The Business Development Manager will identify and secure new business opportunities, manage project bids, maintain customer relationships, and ensure successful contract negotiations.

Join our team of experts providing top-tier offshore top-side and subsea pre-commissioning, and commissioning services and solutions required to prepare onshore and offshore oil and gas infrastructure.
Job Description:
- Identify and secure new onshore and offshore business for pre-commissioning and commissioning services, as well as piping, mechanical, and structural installation services.
- Work with the company Business Lines to present opportunities and collaboratively develop a business strategy win plan
- Report to Americas VP Business Development.
- Individual contributor role for new business opportunities, managing multiple project bids, and securing contracts for existing and new business opportunities.
- Maintain, develop, and cultivate long-term customer relationships, providing customers with strategic economic and safe project solutions.
- Manage the Caricom Region, maintaining key client accounts, ensuring a positive company position in the market.
- Lead the bid process, ensuring collaboration with estimating, operations, legal, finance, and other functions.
- Direct involvement in proposal development, commercial terms, and contract negotiations.
- Manage the Business Development forecasting system, BFT, ensuring the most up to date information regarding prospects, opportunities, and awards.
- Face to face office meetings with existing and new clients within the Caricom Region as required to maintain existing business relationships and establish new relationships
- Participate in the Large Account Management Process, (“LAMP”) training, beneficial to identifying large and strategic accounts
- Meet or exceed established sales goals.
- Customer visits to onshore and offshore sites
- Assist with administrative support required for timely invoicing.
- Assist with collections of Customer account balances.
Requirements
- Five to ten years in the industry, preferably.
- Expertise in onshore and offshore pre-commissioning/commissioning and installation services.
- Familiarity with the onshore and offshore industrial market in the energy, oil and gas, and construction industries.
- Strong in customer relations, commercial contracting, and negotiations.
- Approximately five or more years of experience in business development, sales, proposals, or marketing.
