Mercer Marsh Benefits – Business Development Manager (London)
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Commercial team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. The successful candidate for this role will be based in London on a hybrid basis, with a requirement to work 3 days per week in the office.
Mercer Marsh Benefits is a specialist in employee benefits, health insurance and workplace wellness for SMEs, domestic employers and large multinational firms.
We are currently looking to recruit a talented individual to join us as a Business Development Manager.
Within your role you’ll lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve business objectives, motivate team members, and foster a thriving, innovative culture. You will expected to have a high presence in and around the Marsh and Mercer Marsh Benefits management teams to create opportunity for the team
and for the Southern region.
We will count on you to:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand services and add value to clients.
Manage client relationships across all levels, ensuring full scope of services and collaboration with other teams and business units.
Oversee project management activities, including scope and budget monitoring, and communicate scope changes and financial implications effectively.
Support complex client engagements, develop intellectual capital, and improve operational efficiencies through innovative approaches.
What you need to have:
Excellent communication skills and previous experience of managing stakeholders
Able to effectively communicate with virtual and in-person team members.
Prior healthcare / protection experience (or both).
Achievement and target-oriented mindset with strong relationship management skills.
Proven technical, product, and process knowledge, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & other business-related systems / dashboards.
The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
