The role

This is a key strategic hire focused on winning, building, and scaling a pipeline of van and commercial fleet clients across the UK. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the LCV market, targeting businesses with medium to large van fleets.


What will I be doing?

  • Hunting and winning new business within the LCV and commercial vehicle space
  • Building and executing a targeted strategy to grow our van and commercial fleet portfolio
  • Developing relationships with key decision-makers (Fleet Managers, Procurement, Finance, Operations, Board level)
  • Positioning and selling LCV leasing, contract hire, finance lease and fleet management solutions
  • Driving high-value, multi-vehicle deals, particularly within LCV sectors
  • Generating your own pipeline through networks, industry contacts, and proactive outreach
  • Converting marketing-qualified leads into long-term commercial partnerships
  • Identifying opportunities to introduce  vans, cars and also fleet electrification strategies
  • Upselling wider solutions including salary sacrifice
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client retention

What will I need to succeed?

  • A proven new business hunter with consistent success in B2B sales
  • Strong experience in LCV / van / commercial vehicle sales (essential)
  • Background in leasing, fleet management, broker, or OEM environments (essential)
  • A strong network or track record within commercial fleet sectors
  • Commercially astute with the ability to identify, shape, and close complex deals
  • Confident operating at senior stakeholder level, including Board and C-suite
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and resilient with a “win-first” mentality
  • Strong understanding of fleet , cost control, and operational challenges in van-based businesses
  • Knowledge of LCVs and funding structures
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly organised with strong pipeline and time management discipline
