The Business Development Manager seeks new opportunities, builds relationships, qualifies leads, and collaborates with peers to boost sales in telecommunications.

The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Maintain a global network with customers, peers, competitors, authorities, OEMs and partners in order to stay abreast of all business developments and ensure access to relevant market and business information
- Build a community of trusting relationships with prospects
- Set up meetings or calls between prospects (SQL’s)
- Utilize all the great content and publications from our active product marketing team
- Qualify leads (MQL’s) from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Develop your sales and product skills and knowledge further in the funnel
- Stay up to date with new marketing products/services
- Understand and be able to clearly articulate emerging product and technical and quality needs and expectations from the customer base
- Ability to navigate the complexities of our distribution network and customer inter-relationships
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of sales and/or Business Development experience in the telecommunications industry
- Proven track record of B2B sales
- BA/MA in Business or equivalent
- Familiar and strong affiliation with the communication Industry and has wide networks.
- Ability to build relationships and develop networks, along with highly developed account management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, able to work with people from diverse backgrounds and to influence others without direct authority
- Strong analytical skills, abstract problem solving and logical reasoning.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering a high standard of presentation preparation and working with all MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc…)
- Flexible and adaptable, able to deal creatively with workplace challenges
- Pragmatic, able to find practical solutions and to get things done
- Fluent in English and preferably another major European language.
