Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to join our Energy Storage team to drive the growth in our battery storage solutions business.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, including emerging markets, customer segments, technology trends, and regulatory developments
  • Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with Delta’s strategic priorities, including ecosystem development and long-term market expansion plans.
  • Leverage Delta’s strengths, customer requirements, and stakeholder insights to build cross‑functional teams and develop long‑term business initiatives, including emerging business and future opportunities.
  • Exploring customer opportunities, proposing ideas and negotiating cooperation models with clients and business partners to create win-win for all parties.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities across key segments of Renewable + BESS, EVCS + BESS, C&I, and Utility-scale applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Power Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in the field of C&I and utility-scale battery storage solutions.
  • Technical know-how of renewable energy, PV systems, battery energy storage systems or power conditioning systems.
  • Excellent understanding of sales, business development and customer service processes with ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong legal understanding of contracts and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Adaptability and proactivity, with a solution‑oriented mindset and the ability to gather, structure, and communicate information effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written & spoken), other European languages are considered a plus.
  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis.
