At Nexi, we’re transforming the German payments market with our Payment-as-a-Service (PaaS) and card issuing solutions, challenging how banks, fintechs, and corporates approach digital payments.

Our debit proposition is designed to support rapid, cost-effective go-to-market delivery for banks and financial institutions, enabling seamless issuing at scale with high compliance, lower operational burden, and modern customer experiences.

Based near our office in Eschborn, you’ll be part of a strategic and growth-oriented commercial team, bringing deep payments industry expertise to a market that values both innovation and reliability. This is your chance to reshape an industry from the inside, not by following playbooks, but by writing new ones.


About Your Future Role

In this position, you will:

  • Promote the PaaS solution into the market through face-to-face meetings, events, and campaigns
  • Demonstrate a proven understanding of product (vs. solution) sales, with experience in driving repeatable, cost-effective sales cycles
  • Understand the customer's business and technical environment
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Build strong relationships with market influencers (Visa, Mastercard, partners, and consultants) at a regional level
  • Educate clients on Nexi’s PaaS payment solutions
  • Identify and onboard partners to support your go-to-market plan
  • Own the contracting process and coordinate internal resources across departments
  • Collaborate with the PaaS program team (Product, Marketing, IT) to align strategy and provide relevant internal feedback
  • Work with Product teams on pricing strategies to ensure positive business cases for Nexi
  • Collaborate and support events for the IS solution business using the appropriate B2B marketing mix, aligned with the available budget

What Makes You a Great Fit

We’d like you to have or be:

  • A hunter with a strong commercial mindset
  • Fluent in German & English
  • 5–7 years’ experience selling products or solutions — ideally in the payments industry
  • Strong existing relationships with payment stakeholders in the German market
  • Accountability and a results-oriented approach with a “customer-first” mindset
  • High business acumen and a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Comfortable with autonomy and proactive problem-solving
  • Ability to thrive in a complex matrix organization, working across diverse teams and functions

Bonus Skills

  • Experience at a payments processor, issuing platform, or B2B fintech provider
  • Exposure to Cards-as-a-Service (CaaS) and digital wallet/tokenization platforms
  • Italian or additional European language proficiency
  • Experience working in matrixed, international environments
