Within our firm we have a go-to-market approach around financial services sector, which is one of our most active and growing sector areas. This role will be focused on driving business development activity in this sector and specifically for financial services internal audit clients. You will work closely with the partners, managing directors, directors, and other client leads to drive our go-to-market approach with agreed clients in this sector.

We will support you to balance your work and life. The location of this role is London, with an expectation to be in the London office 2-3 times a week.

A look into the role

As a Business Development Internal Audit Manager within our co-source business risk services practice, you will:

  • Build your network and relationships with key individuals in the co-source and BRS team. 
  • Support client lead in developing client relationships and revenue opportunities to enable measurable account growth. 
  • Keeping client leads abreast on opportunities, discussions, challenges , engagement and competitor information across target clients
  • Support client leads to identify new points of contact and topics of interest for the client, schedule relevant outreach campaigns and support with follow-up. 
  • Attend client, target, and intermediary events, where applicable ensure an effective follow up on these events and work in partnership with the Marketing Team to ensure that the firm’s insight, thought leadership and marketing campaigns are targeted, driven and deliver return on investment. 
  • Support with generating ideas for thought leadership and creating brochures for external use. 
  • Having worked in or having some internal audit experience will be beneficial.

Knowing you’re right for us

Joining us as a Business Development Internal Audit Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need is business development and UK internal audit experience. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.

  • Excellent communication skills  
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to engage with and influence key decision makers at a senior level, to identify new business opportunities with both new prospects and existing clients 
  • Good organisational skills 
  • A strong interest in the Financial Services sector 
  • A thorough understanding and application of lead generation, sales and or client management activity 
  • A proven track record of working client and account leads to a revenue target 
  • Experience within a professional services business development role
